Welcome to the VDM PROJECT.
This project is a response to the need for the development of a safe treatment for eye floaters, also called vision degrading miodesopsia (VDM). We believe this project will give patients the most successful opportunity to support a new and safe cure for this life-changing condition.
The founder of the project is Dr. Jerry Sebag, the world's leading expert on human vitreous who is actively working on various research projects for the most effective treatement of VDM (clinically significant eye floaters).
The VDM project unites for the first time the leaders of international groups of sufferers under a single project with the aim of creating a reliable resource that can give up-to-date information regarding ongoing research, and how to support it.
The union of these two worlds - the sufferers and the non-profit association led by Dr. Sebag - will aim to accelerate research progress and lead to a safe cure.
This project is a new milestone in the history of the battle against this disease. The platform vdmresearch.org - where you can actively participate and support the VDM project - will launch on January 1st 2020.
